Youth Summit 2025
Parent Workshop Information:
Time for Your Teen is a parent education program that aims to influence parent-child communication, promote healthy adolescent sexual development, and reduce adolescent risk-taking. By the end of the program, participants will be able to engage in lines of positive parent-child communication and increase their knowledge of adolescent sexual development.
Topics Include:
· Creating Family Values
· Communication Skills
· Adolescent Health Development
· Sexual Health Resources
· Love Languages
· Initiating Sex Positive Conversations
Palm Beach County will also present a drug prevention program. Parents will learn how to talk with their children about these difficult topics, prepare their children on how to respond if offered drugs, and provide information on substance use.
